Washtenaw County offers grants for healthy food projects

“YPSILANTI, MI – Washtenaw County is seeking project ideas to improve access to healthy foods” writes Dmoran Mlive Com for mlive.com. Through Nov. 15, local governments, school districts, tribal organizations, nonprofits and community groups with ideas can apply for a slice of $30,000 in grant funding from the Washtenaw County Health Department.Still, those interested can request between $1,000 to $30,000 in grant funding.The department is seeking grant proposals for projects that will create lasting change and support health equity, according to a release from the department.
