Federal employees have more withdrawal choices for their retirement savings

“However, withdrawal options are just part of a decision on where to keep their retirement savings” writes Eric Yoder for washingtonpost.com. Current and former federal employees and military personnel starting Sunday will have more options when withdrawing money from their retirement accounts.However, restrictions on those options have caused many of them to instead transfer their money to an IRA or a retirement savings plan of another employer where they have a wider range of choices for taking withdrawals.They all say that they don’t want to leave their retirement to chance.
