Cops who lost jobs after police department merger get $1.2M settlement

A $1.2 million settlement has been reached in a lawsuit brought forth by police officers who were laid off after a shared services agreement between two Gloucester County municipalities.The officers also allegedly would have been paid more if hired by Franklin Township due to terms in a collective bargaining agreement.
