England player considers hiring own security firm to travel to Russia with his family for World Cup

“Talks are scheduled between the FA and the players over security for Russia, following the political fall-out from the Salisbury nerve agent attack” writes Matt Law for telegraph.co.uk. At least one England player is considering hiring his own security firm to travel to Russia with his family for this summer’s World Cup as the squad wait to find out whether or not the Football Association will make any special safety arrangements for their wives, girlfriends and children.Rather than fearing for their own safety, players are more eager to hear whether any security plans will be put in place for their families and loved ones who make the journey. But the squad are yet to find out whether or not the FA will provide extra security for the families, rather than simply having guards on the door of the hotel.
