Bright outlook for Florida hiring, ManpowerGroup says

“Florida employers expect to hire at a rapid pace between April and June, according to a quarterly forecast by staffing company ManpowerGroup, based in Milwaukee, Wis” writes Marcia Heroux Pounds for sun-sentinel.com. Orlando area had the strongest employment growth, 3.8 percent, followed by South Florida, with 3 percent growth during the year — both above the national average, he said.Across the U.S., one in five employers expect to grow their workforce in the next three months, according to the survey.Twenty-three percent of the state’s employers interviewed plan to hire more workers, and 4 percent expect to reduce their payrolls.ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey results are based on interviews with more than 11,500 employers in the 50 states, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
